To maintain VIDEO NASTIES as a platform for human storytelling, please take note of the following update regarding the use of AI:

1. AI as a Tool:
AI may be utilized sparingly for specific tasks, particularly when traditional methods are insufficient for filmmakers. These films will still benefit from our 'no rejection policy.'

2. Curated Selection: Films that are entirely or predominantly generated by AI will no longer be guaranteed a screening. Such entries will undergo a curated selection process, and chosen films will be clearly marked in the program. We limit the number of these films in the final lineup to preserve the festival as a venue for human-centric creative vision and authentic collaboration. Selected AI-Generatedfilms will still be eligible for appropriate awards.


The festival organizers reserve the right to alter, modify, or amend these terms and conditions, the festival schedule, programming structure, and submission policies at any time and at their sole discretion. Submission of a film does not constitute a legally binding agreement for physical screening if unforeseen circumstances or structural policy updates require changes to the festival program.
